THE LITTLE GIRL THAT NOBODY LOVED

I was wandering the streets all alone when a kind lady found me. I was so skinny, and suffering with some terrible skin problems. I am not a typical street dog. I am a shitzu and here at the Soi Dog shelter, they have named me Flaga.

I am about 3 years of age now and most likely did have an owner at some point, unlike the other street dogs. Maybe I was dumped because taking care of me was too much work. Maybe my owner didn�t want me when I was no longer a cute and fluffy puppy. Perhaps my matted hair and skin conditions were just too much to cope with and it was easier to throw me out on the street than take me to a vet.

The Soi Dog vets diagnosed me with malnutrition, vitamin deficiency, and anaemia. I was also suffering from blood parasites. My once beautiful coat had fallen out in clumps, leaving me with bald patches all over my body. I was infested with ticks. I was the little dog that nobody had loved.

People like YOU turned things around for me. Thanks to Soi Dog supporters, the vets at the shelter could care for me and help me recover. The kind animal lovers around the world who funded my treatment have no doubt saved my life. Without them, I would have had to remain on the streets, alone in my suffering. I am not a typical street dog � I don�t have the survival skills for that.
