Aimy has adopted the blind cat from Nasrun and named her Fatimah.

Just to update you on Fatimah the blind cat. I picked her up from Nasron at around 11pm on Sunday after taking in 2 kittens from PetHell at Damansara Damai. Along with my girls and Razleena (a new friend), we went to get Fatimah and brought her to the vet the next day. This is the picture of Fatimah at the vet. As you can see, she isn't a pleasant sight to see with bad odour and pus and blood oozing out from her portruding left eye. Her right eye according to the doctor is 'gone' and the lids are closed. So, she is blind. The vet gave her on 3 days antibiotics and me and my girls feed her AD and syringe fed her with water and keep her in a small closed basket so she won't bump into anything. After 2 days, she started to mew to us and purr! I put up post on my FB requesting for help from my friends to help me with the surgery fees, and within hours, alhamdulillah, I got more than what I need. Starting midnight, Fatimah will be on fasting mode and tomorrow morning, Razleena will help me to send Fatimah to the vet as I am working tomorrow and my elder daughter will pick her up in a taxi at 4pm. Please pray for this sweet soul to be safe tomorrow and recover well. Thanks.

Be safe and well, and we wish you a successful surgery, Fatimah!
