HE WAS FOUND TIED TO A POLE, WITH A BROKEN LEG

This is Jackapong. He is about 7 years of age and just one example of the type of cases passing through our doors each week. Jackapong was found tied to a pole with a heavy metal chain and padlock. His leg was broken.

We will never know how he came to be in this situation, but three different local people called us about this poor boy, who was in unbearable agony and unable to move. Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon was dispatched immediately to find him.

From the fracture in Jackapong�s leg, our vets suspect he was hit by a car. He has also been diagnosed with an abnormally high white blood cell count. Jackapong is a breed of spaniel and therefore not a typical Thai street dog. Unlike the street dogs, he was clearly someone�s pet at some point until they decided they no longer wanted him.

Please help us care for Jackapong and so many others that will pass through our doors this week alone. We just can�t do it without you, and it doesn�t have to be a lot to make a big difference.
