We first met Suwan after receiving an email from Bruce and Alexandra, who were here on holiday from Germany. They reported seeing an emaciated dog with bad skin problems near a temple they had visited.

Founders John and Gill drove to the temple and found poor Suwan who was indeed in a bad way. They brought him immediately to our shelter.

It is only people like you who make this possible. Without the donations of existing Soi Dog supporters, we would not have been able to do anything for this suffering boy. Thanks to them, he got the treatment he had needed for so long and made a wonderful recovery.

Bruce and Alexandra had not forgotten Suwan though, and after 4 months being treated at our shelter, he left us to fly to Germany and the couple who had saved him. Thank you Bruce and Alexandra!

Here he is, relaxing with his new friend – so far away from the world of suffering in which we found him.

Sadly, many more like Suwan are not as lucky. They too deserve the same chance, but we can do nothing for them without YOU. Will you please sign up to help animals like Suwan?

They have nobody else to turn to if they don’t have you. Please visit https://ert.soidog.org/ and commit to helping them today.

Thank you.
