Sunset was just a young puppy when she arrived at our shelter, having been dumped by a busy road. She was in good health but, at such a young age, would never have survived the dangers around her.

Lucky Sunset spent just 8 months at our shelter before being adopted by Jeannie and Martin in Vancouver, Canada. She has been re-named Sunny and has just celebrated her first birthday!

Here’s Sunny after “opening” her birthday card. Thank you Jeannie and Martin for giving a deserving girl such a great home!

Things would have ended very differently for Sunny were it not for the Soi Dog supporters whose donations meant we could take her in and care for her until she was adopted.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
