WHEN WE MET HER, SHE COULDN�T EVEN STAND UP

We were shocked when we met Lilandra. Just over a year old, her shrunken body was being ravaged by one of the worst cases of mange we have ever seen. She was so weak she couldn�t stand up. Bald patches covered her emaciated body and face. The light in her eyes had simply gone out.

Lilandra was also battling severe anaemia and bloody diarrhoea. We feared that this suffering girl was not going to make it, but we were determined to give her a fighting chance. For that to happen, we desperately needed help.

We appealed to our supporters to help save Lilandra. She was in urgent need of medical treatment if she was to stand any chance at all. The first priority was to treat the anaemia and diarrhoea that had left her so shockingly weak and dehydrated.

Lilandra was also started on medication for the mange that had destroyed her once beautiful coat. In all of this, people like you came through for Lilandra. Without the donations of Soi Dog supporters, this beautiful girl would have stood no chance.

Lilandra�s recovery has been slow and is still very much ongoing. This week however, she has turned a corner. Having struggled to eat initially, she has re-discovered her love of food and now has a very healthy appetite. This will help enormously in her recovery.
