END THE SUFFERING FOR DOGS LIKE BETTINA

TWO YEARS OF AGE BUT FEELING OLD BEYOND MY YEARS

I was brought to the Soi Dog shelter by a lady named Khun Ga. Having grown up on the streets, like so many others, I have never had a home or someone to love me. Here at the shelter, they call me Bettina. It feels good to have a name.

Khun Ga is a kind animal lover who feeds the stray dogs in her community. She had never seen me before but one day, there I was – alone on a street corner. I had a severely infected wound on my shoulder and was struggling to use one of my back legs.

I am being cared for by Dr Eugene now. My wound was severely infected and infested with maggots. I have been suffering for some time. I have a permanent limp and may have been hit by a car at some point in my life, but with nobody to care for me, my injury remained untreated.

Please don’t think that YOU can’t make a difference for unloved animals like me. It is only because of existing Soi Dog supporters that I could be taken in when Khun Ga brought me to the shelter. The donations of those supporters are now funding my care and the medical treatment I so desperately needed.

Will YOU please do the same for another dog like me? Left untreated, that infected wound on my shoulder would have almost certainly lead to blood poisoning and a slow and painful death for me. Won’t you please save another animal from such a tragic and unnecessary death?

No amount is too small; every penny will make a difference. Without you, there is nothing. There is no other source of help for us.

A small monthly gift from you will mean thousands more like me will be saved every year. Please click on my picture now and commit to making a difference for the sick and injured today. YOU are all we have.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
