Dear all,
Amidst the ongoing work that we do, I have constantly been "bugging" our tshirt supplier on the delivery date of our all-new yellow tshirt.
The agreed deadline was mid-September and I've just been informed yesterday that the tshirts will arrive either today or tomorrow.
YAY!!
This is all so exciting because it's something so new - the colour yellow and the V-neck for ladies.
To all those who have placed your orders, may I first thank you so very much for the show of support.
May I also now request that you remit payment to our PBB account and please send me an email once it's done? To those who have paid up, thank you very much.
Payment details: http://www.myanimalcare.org/p/tshirts.html
I shall be packing and posting your orders as soon as the stock arrives. Those who have requested postal delivery, please ensure that you have sent me your postal addresses. Those who will be collecting from me, please arrange for collection once I announce that the tshirts are ready for collection.
I ordered a total of 300 tshirts, so there will be tshirts for purchase after the pre-ordered ones have been delivered. If you'd like to purchase now, please write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com. Size details are on this link: http://www.myanimalcare.org/p/tshirts.html
I also regret to inform you that we are currently really short in the Black design, but I've already placed an order, which unfortunately the supplier misplaced, but the matter was resolved last week, so the printing is underway. The new Black and Cute stocks will arrive before 15th September (the supplier said they would "try"), so for those who have ordered Black or Cute along with your Yellows, could you please wait until 15th September? I apologise for the delay as it was an unintentional error on the part of the supplier.
As promised, we missed 31st August, but never mind, since we are celebrating Malaysia Day on 16th September, the Yellows are still on time.
All our designs on available throughout the year, so if you'd like to buy gifts for your friends and family on any festive occasion or anytime of the year, do support us by giving our tshirts as meaningful gifts to your loved ones - you get to support the animals that we help, support us in our ongoing work and spread the message of kindness to animals, which is so sorely needed in our country, especially in light of the recent cat-abuse incident.
Speak up for the animals. They cannot speak for themselves.
Is this the prettiest picture of 'em all, or what? (Black and Cute)
Old is Gold. (our first design)
P.S. I'm now thinking about what one lady said at the press conference that day. She said we, the NGOs have bigtime sponsors and donations yet we do not do enough for the animals. Oh gosh....if only she knew how we (pardon the expression) "work our butts off" to raise funds by selling tshirts and me giving public talks. Every cent counts for us, and every single cent goes back to the animals. We are all unpaid volunteers and all expenses in the course of our work are borne by ourselves. This particular lady said she is currently looking after 13 cats from her own pocket. That is admirable and I salute her. We have looked after 1269 animals in two years, so I don't think her sweeping statement was justified. But that's what people are like. Oh well...let them be.
