Many temples and other areas are home to colonies of street dogs and cats, with a large network of Thai animal lovers who feed and care for them each day. Soi Dog Foundation provides food on a monthly basis to these carers, as well as spaying and neutering all the animals.

We were recently contacted about another lady who looks after hundreds of dogs that would otherwise have nobody to care for them. This lady was funding food, sterilisation and vaccination for these dogs from her own pocket and was struggling to cope with the huge costs involved.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
