SAVED FROM A VIETNAMESE DINNER PLATE

My name is Thor, a survivor of the dog meat trade. Will you please adopt me?

I was stolen from the streets of Thailand, destined for the dinner plate in neighbouring Vietnam. Thanks to people like you though, Soi Dog was able to save me from a slow and painful death.

Can you imagine being crammed into a cage so small and already full of dogs, to be transported on a truck with no shade and no water? The conditions were horrible but somehow some of us survived this brutal journey. There were so many of us in one cage, I couldn’t even breathe properly. I could hear the sad cries of many dogs around me.

I now live in a shelter with all the dogs rescued from the cruel meat trade – over one thousand of us.

I am a very friendly, affectionate boy who is about 4 years of age. I get on well with the other dogs in my run. All I want is a home with a soft bed and a family who will give me the attention I crave. I have been here for a while, and see many other dogs leaving for their new homes. I hope I am lucky enough one day to also find mine.

I am ready to be adopted to Europe, Canada or the U.S.

I have been through a lot, but I promise I will be the best dog I can be. Please ADOPT me.
