The tumours were taking over my body when they found me. I am a boy of 7 years of age, who has lived a hard life on the streets. My name is Jukebox.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter suffering with something called TVT or trans-venereal tumours. Although you may not see this much in dogs in your country, it is very common among the street dog population in Thailand.

I had already lost an eye to one of these tumours after it completely engulfed it and caused it to protrude from the socket. It was too late to save that eye, but because my illness is so common, the vets here are very used to treating it and the treatment has a high success rate.

Thanks to people like you, I have now been started on weekly chemotherapy, which is the most effective way of treating these tumours. Over time, they will start to shrink and disappear, and I can be a happy, healthy dog once more.

I am one of so many sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals here at the Soi Dog shelter. There is no government funding to help any of us, no support from anywhere, except for people like you. This means that YOU are truly the only hope we have.

A small, monthly gift from you goes such a long way in treating dogs like me and giving us a second chance at life. We don’t deserve the world of suffering we’ve been born into but only you can change it.

It really doesn’t take a lot to make a difference. No amount is too small; every penny helps. Will you please click on my picture and commit to helping the suffering dogs and cats of Thailand?

We are counting on you – because there is nobody else.

Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured animals in desperate need of medical treatment. A small, regular gift from you will provide emergency care to those in urgent need, and fund spaying and neutering to prevent further suffering – will you sign up today?
