IF I COULD TALK, YOU WOULD KNOW MY SUFFERING

I am only 2 years old and have lived my whole life on the street, like so many others. They call me Muska.

I was so weak when I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter that I could barely stand up. A shocking wound covered the right side of my face and neck. The wound was severely infected and infested with maggots. I was also diagnosed with severe anaemia and the vets said my white blood cell count was abnormally high.

This is the life of a street dog. From the day we are born, we are alone. There is no human to care for us; we don�t know what it is to have a home of our own. Every day is dominated by the need to find food and a safe haven � the need to just stay alive.

I wish I could tell you how I got this horrific wound, but I guess you will never know. I can tell you though that without the Soi Dog supporters whose donations are funding my care, I would no longer be around. I would have died on that street, all alone and in agony.

There is simply no hope for street dogs like me without YOU. There is no government funding, no other source of help. YOU are all there is � please don�t turn away from us.
