Appeal for Information: Rabbits found, allegedly abandoned, at Choa Chu Kang

On 7 October 2015 (Wednesday), at about 6am, two rabbits (shown in pic) were found, allegedly abandoned, in a large white, flat-based cage at the lift lobby of Blk 669 Choa Chu Kang Crescent.

According to information we received, the rabbits were allegedly found on the 9th floor common bin area of the same block. The rabbits are currently in the SPCAs care.

The SPCA urges anyone with information in relation to this incident to call our 24-hour hotline at 62875355 (ext. 9), or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

* Under the Animals and Birds Act, anyone found guilty of cruelty to animals, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 18 months, fined up to S$15,000, or both.
