IT’S WORLD ANIMAL DAY TOMORROW!

ACRES is celebrating World Animal Day TOMORROW at Speakers� Corner! We�ll be introducing Singapore�s very own wild animals, the threats they face, and how we can co-exist with and save them.

There�ll be loads of fun (and unique!) activities for everyone � such as yoga for kids, face painting, balloon sculpting, a photographic exhibition of Singapore�s elusive native wild animals, and the launch of the first ever ACRES calendar for 2016!

What’s more, there will be a special Harley Davidson photo-taking and joy ride session with War Pigs Singapore, the local motorcycle club!

So come and join us � for a day of fun that benefits the animals!

Please note that the event will be cancelled should the PSI reading be over 300 (hazardous) at 9am on the 4th October. If the event is cancelled, we will announce this on the ACRES Facebook page and the Event page by 9am on Sunday morning.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
