I AM SO SMALL – WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO EAT ME?

Rescued from certain death, I am one of the lucky ones. I am a girl called Starbucks and I am just over 5 years old. A kind person has now donated for some of my flight costs.

Will you please email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me?

I was snatched from the street and crushed into a cage with many other dogs and driven away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

Where were these people taking me? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – after that there was a terrifying silence all round.

I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter in Buriram, northern Thailand. I now live in a compound with 100s of dogs.

I love head scratches and pats. I am incredibly affectionate with people and love being cuddled. I have been known to be a little feisty when in a run with many other dogs, but I am good one on one with male dogs. A home therefore with no other dogs or a boy dog would be a good fit for me.

I am waiting now for my forever family to find me. I would be lovely and loyal; I just need one chance to show you.

Soi Dog want to help me find a forever home so if you have a place in your heart to adopt me please contact cristy@soidog.org
