Another 100 cats are expected to be retrieved from another house by tomorrow. Fosterers are needed very urgently to help look after these cats until their owners return from out of state to reclaim them.
We can only hope the relevant authorities will be able to retrieve those cats by tomorrow. Time is of the essence as lives are at stake. Being deprived of water takes a heavy toll on the kidneys.
What you need to do as a fosterer:
1. If cat is very sickly, send immediately to the nearest vet. 2. If cat is alright, offer food and water. 3. Do NOT over-feed as it may cause more problems. Make food and water available and let the cat eat on its own. Boiled chicken would be good. 4. Offer warmth, love and comfort.
The cat who was at our vet just now, Panda, was rubbing itself on my leg. These are all pets who are loved and well-taken care of. They need some psychological assurance that they are safe after having gone through that traumatic neglect at the boarding house.
Please help, if you can. Fosterers are needed urgently for tomorrow. Please contact KTAJ if you can help.
UPDATES at 12.16am - A Member of Parliament has helped obtain the address of the house. Volunteers will head to the place to retrieve the cats in peace. We pray for their safety, humans and cats, and hope all will be well.
