Junk Converters is a local production that looks into how recycling and upcycling can give old and unwanted objects new life. Earlier this year, the show featured ACRES as part of their �wildlife conservation� themed episode. Check out how the kids teamed up with our staff member, Gretchen FY Ong, to upcycle some junk items into a fun enrichment tool for the rescued tortoises in our care!



In this episode of Junk Converters, the team arrives at ACRES to learn and understand more about Wildlife Conservation. Here, they meet the resident tortoises and decide to give these loveable creatures a brand new playpen made entirely out of junk.
