My name is Harp. I was hit by a car and left with terrible injuries.
Now that I have recovered, will you ADOPT me? Please email ALL QUESTIONS to deb@soidog.org
I’ve lived for 9 years on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. I was busy looking for food, when I was hit by a car. I had no one looking out for me, but I was one of lucky ones as I was taken to Soi Dog.
I’ve received surgery on my spine and hip and am no longer in pain, but my right hind leg is thinner than my other legs. I am so grateful for the help and support provided by everyone at Soi Dog and their supporters.
I’m a gentle boy of 9 years and the best parts of my day are when the visitors pass through my run. I take the time to say hello to them all, charming them and making sure to keep my tail wagging throughout. But I do save my most vigorous tail wags for those people I know. I will often throw in a little happy dance for good measure when I want someone to feel special.
I am always happy to see the volunteers, but up until recently I didn’t walk much, mainly because I was scared of having anything round my neck. Lately the nice people here have been spending time with me, and teaching me that the lead can be a good thing. And guess what? They were right!
I now see that spending time out of my run with people is amazing, and I have been told that I make a great little companion. I was always friendly and playful, which gave me hope, but being able to go out on walks has opened me up to the possibility of something I always wanted, but never thought likely – having a forever home.
Now that I have caught a glimpse of what it might be like to have someone special, and be out with them every day, it is all I want.
Please EMAIL deb@soidog.org to find out how to make this happen.
Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends rescued dogs and cats to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise everything for you. Please email ALL QUESTIONS to deb@soidog.org
