I AM NOT EVEN 4 MONTHS OLD BUT I ALREADY KNOW PAIN AND SUFFERING
My story begins with a lady called Khun Woon. She feeds all the stray dogs in her neighbourhood and has a kind heart. One weekend, she left Phuket and travelled back to her home town to visit her family. There, she met me. My name is Nang Fa.
I had recently been hit by a car but, with no owner to care for me, my injuries remained untreated. Remember, this is how life is for every Thai street dog and I am just one of millions. The community of people living in that village wanted to help me but they are poor and there was nobody who could afford the vet bills.
They came up with the idea of pooling their money so that together, they could hopefully get me the treatment I needed. These people really wanted to help me. Khun Woon told them she could instead take me to the Soi Dog shelter on her return to Phuket and that is how I have ended up here.
The first thing that needed to happen was that I needed these things called x-rays. I didn’t know what this meant but I heard that they did not have the machine that is needed for this at Soi Dog. This meant I had to go on another journey, to a different vet clinic that could do these x-rays.
The car accident had left me with a fractured jaw but with your support, the vets of Soi Dog want to do everything in their power to get me better. It’s not easy here in this tiny clinic, with so many dogs that are sick or injured. We all really need to be in hospital – but there isn’t one.
The vets here talk about a special place. It’s a dedicated dog hospital, being built just for dogs like me. If it’s completed, it will even have this x-ray machine thing. However, nothing is certain without you. The hospital really needs you to be a part of it. I really need you to be a part of it.
Please become an Angel for Dogs today. Doing this means you will be playing your part in getting the dog hospital finished and equipped with everything it needs. Being an Angel for Dogs means keeping the hospital running day in, day out, so that thousands of dogs like me can be saved each year.
It doesn’t take a lot to be an Angel for Dogs. No amount is too small; every penny will help in making the dream of a dog hospital a reality. Will you please help? It cannot happen without you.

Thank you.
The dogs of Thailand urgently need your help. Soi Dog’s vet clinic is far too small for the number of neglected, injured and abused dogs it cares for and dogs are suffering and dying as a result. Please donate about a dollar a day to help them.
