FROM DESPAIR TO JOY � MICHELLE GETS THE BEST NEWS!

They call me Michelle. I have grown up on the streets of Thailand and am now just over 2 years old. Life can be tough for street cats like me and I will never forget the trauma that brought me to the Soi Dog shelter.

I was minding my own business when the scary dog came out of nowhere. I promise I didn�t do anything wrong or try to fight him, but he just didn�t want me around and attacked me very badly.

I am so lucky to be alive today. That dog bit me so badly under my leg and I was in horrendous pain. I didn�t know pain could be so bad. One of the local people who puts food out for strays like me found me lying in a corner, curled up in agony.

Thanks to that person, I ended up at the Soi Dog shelter, and, thanks to the members of the Care for Cats Club, the people at Soi Dog were able to help me.

I truly am one of the lucky ones, because the Shelter Manager here at Soi Dog fell head over heels in love with me and she has adopted me. Who would have thought a lonely street cat like me could have such a happy story to tell?
