AT JUST 9 WEEKS OF AGE, I GOT A HARSH INTRODUCTION TO LIFE ON THE STREETS

I was just a small pup when they found me wandering the streets with a very deep wound behind one of my ears. How this happened I will never be able to tell you, but it�s very possible someone got angry with me hanging around just looking for love and a bite to eat.

My name is Neptune.

With no human to care for me, I was in very real danger when I was found. In the hot, tropical climate here, wounds like mine become infected very quickly. When this happens, it�s a very bad thing, and the infection travels fast.

With nobody to give me special medicine to kill the infection, I would have got something called blood poisoning. This would have meant a very slow and painful death for me � at just 9 weeks.

Instead, thanks to some very special Soi Dog supporters, a few weeks on and I am happy and well, telling you my story. It could all have ended so differently.

At the Soi Dog shelter, I was looked after by a lady called Dr Su. She told me that it was only because of donations from kind-hearted animal lovers that she could help me. Without those people, I would have died, alone and unloved, before I�d even had a chance to live.

I am a very special boy, but my story is not unique. As you read it, another pup likes me needs you. Without YOUR support, there is no other hope for animals like us. Without YOU, we simply won�t make it.

It doesn�t take a lot to change things. Every penny makes a difference and means dogs like me are given a second chance at life. Will you please be a part of that? It just can�t happen without you.
