DOGS LIKE ME NEED A DEDICATED HOSPITAL. PLEASE HELP TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

I was in agony when they found me. A large and very deep wound on my shoulder had become severely infected and was infested with maggots. I am an older boy of about 7 years now and I have lived on the streets all my life, like so many others. My name is Banksy.

Can you imagine what it is like having nobody to love you? Imagine what it is like fighting to survive day to day, scavenging for food and doing whatever you can to stay out of danger. I wish I could tell you what happened that left me with such a serious wound. YOU are the only hope I have.

I am at the Soi Dog shelter now and in the care of Dr Eugene. He flushes out my wound daily, removing maggots both dead and alive and cutting away rotting tissue. It is the most attention anybody has ever shown me and it is all thanks to someone like you.

Dr Eugene is hopeful I will make a full recovery and because of that, I am one of the lucky ones. There are many of us here, being treated in Soi Dog�s tiny clinic that the vets have used from day one. It is no longer enough.

Dogs like me need a dedicated hospital with all the facilities necessary to treat us. Although work continues on this special building, funds are needed to complete it, equip it, and keep it running. Only YOU can make this happen.
