THEY POURED HOT OIL OVER MY HEAD AND LEFT ME IN AGONY. Will you please ADOPT me?

My name is Jai and I am a sweet, chilled out boy of just over 4 years. A kind sponsor has now donated funds towards my flight – I just need a home to go to!

Will you please EMAIL deb@soidog.org to adopt me?

I enjoyed life on the beach where the tourists would feed me. One day someone decided they no longer liked me being around so they poured hot oil over my head. I cannot describe the pain I was in; it was agonising. My skin was so badly damaged it fell off and left a gaping wound.

There was no one looking out for me on the beach so I never saw a vet. My wound became seriously infected with maggots. I am lucky to be alive and to be able to tell my story. Thanks to people like you, Soi Dog came to my rescue and whisked me away to safety – that was over 3 years ago.

I hang out with the quieter, shier dogs in my run and we get on well together. I prefer the quiet life and tend to mind my own business.

There are some strong characters in my run and a few times a week they go play in the recreational run. When this happens I come out of my shell; I’m energetic, very friendly and affectionate. I love to go out for a walk on these days, it means I can avoid the scrum at the gate.

I am looking for a quiet life as I’m super chilled. Maybe you work from home or are retired. Are you the family that is going to save me from a life in a shelter? It’s not bad here, but it will never be as good as a loving home.

Please ADOPT me! Email deb@soidog.org to find out how to make this happen.

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends rescued dogs and cats to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise everything for you. Please EMAIL deb@soidog.org if you can adopt Jai.
