I'm contact with the vet and here's the very latest news, received just 5 minutes ago:
amazingly, I just checked up on nica, she is walking a little now, sit again, passed normal faeces and urinated.
Teresa wrote last night saying she might have to consider euthanasia if Nica does not respond to treatment.
But Nica is responding now. She is eating and drinking on her own, can walk and pass faeces and urinate.
The vet says Nica is for discharge.
On our part, we'll help with the medical bill up to the point when the animal is fit for discharge. We do not subsidise beyond that as it is not fair to the vet to keep boarding the animal and deprive other sick animals of the space.
If you can help with fostering Nica, please contact Teresa directly on 017-3307244.
For all rescuers who request for financial assistance from our funds, please be informed that we do not sponsor euthanasia, any treatment deemed unnecessary or hazardous to the animal and we do not sponsor unnecessary boarding. It is stated clearly in our policies: http://www.myanimalcare.org/p/policies.html
