DOLPHIN RESEARCH UPDATES

Since launching the dolphin sightings hotline in May, we�ve received 7 calls from members of the public, and there was even a sighting of a mother dolphin with her calf! We�re very happy to announce that we will be out at sea again very soon. This has all been made possible because of those who donated to our pioneering dolphin research project.

Since we launched the project in April, we�ve been trying to secure funds to jumpstart the study on wild dolphins in Singapore. We are extremely grateful to the kind souls who have helped us along the way, and will honour them in due time!

Besides our efforts in seeking funding, our dolphin researchers have also made several trips to the islands and the coastal areas in Singapore to conduct preliminary studies. The dolphin researchers will soon be meeting up with the Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society to learn from their expertise as well. Stay tuned for more updates!
