IT DOESNT ALWAYS HAVE TO COME FROM THE ADULTS
Vygotsky (founder of the Social Development Theory, 1978) says that the environment in which children grow up will influence how they think and what they think about. Social interactions with their partners help them to construct knowledge.
The P3 and P4 student leaders of Maris Stella High (Pri) visited the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre this month, with the purpose of learning more about Singapores native wildlife and how everyone can play a part in ending animal cruelty. Theyre going to share the knowledge gained and reflections from this trip with their Primary 1 juniors at school. Way to go, student leaders! Were sure that the P1 pupils will enjoy the sharing of your knowledge and learn a lot from you!
Empower your children to make a positive difference for others, and to enhance their own lives! Kick off their inspiration to help animals by involving them in an ACRES HEAL talk/roadshow/visit/project! Email joee@acres.org.sg to get started!
