Dominic, our Soi Dog ambassador, profoundly touched the hearts of all who met him, and in particular, Lisa and her family, who opened their hearts and home to him.

While at our shelter, Dominic was the only dog who had the privilege of roaming free. He never went far. His favourite hang-out was the Volunteer Area, where he was our Meet & Greet man. Everyone who met him loved him.

In honour of Dominic, we have re-named the Volunteer Area as Dominic’s Place and hung his photograph there so that all those who visit will learn the story of a Soi Dog legend.

Dominic will continue to watch over the volunteers and we know he’ll be pleased with that.

Rest in peace, Dominic.

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
