Snowy has been breathing with open mouth continuously for the past 3 hours. He seems to be struggling...like the first day I brought him to see the vet, before being given the oxygen therapy. But he's not making any noise. So I hope he's not suffering but I was told that cats have a high tolerance for pain. I have not seen him sleep at all. Maybe the quick breathing prevents him from sleeping? But his vet said he has seen him sleep at his clinic. Today's spoonfeeding is a bit difficult. So frequent forcefeeding of AD plus medication could have caused the stress (??) Maybe the fluid is accumulating again? No way of knowing without an X-ray. Few times when he saw the cage door was open, he stood up and wanted to walk out. When I allowed him to walk a few steps outside the cage on Saturday, he immediately started to pant. Hope he stabilises soon, or else may have to bring him to any vet that is open tomorrow. Poor Snowy :(
I've advised Agnes to bring Snowy to the vet with the emergency call-back service if Snowy continues this way.
Without the chemotherapy and Prednisolone, Snowy might just deteriorate.
