My name is Akon and I am sweet, chilled out boy of 2 and a half years old.

I was minding my own business, surviving on the streets, when one day someone decided I should die. I have no idea what I did to deserve such a drastic response, I always kept myself to myself. Soi Dog came to my rescue and whisked me away to safety; that was a year ago.

I have some grey hairs on my face and I can be pretty chilled out, which gives some people the impression that I am older than I am. Don�t be fooled though, I love to play with my best friend Caviar, but she has been adopted and will be leaving soon. I hope it is my turn very soon. I will be so lonely without her.

I tend to hang out with the quieter, shyer dogs in my run and we get on well together. I can be a bit unsure of new people, but once I get to know you I enjoy being patted and I enjoy attention. I like my walks and the volunteers here have said I walk well on my lead.

Are you the family that is going to save me from a life in a shelter? It�s not bad here, but it will never be as good as a loving home.
