The Cats Day Out

I was deeply moved by this video clip: http://elitedaily.com/news/scary-ad-technology-kids-video/1174672/
It is a grim reminder that we are creatures of the natural world and we must not let technology take over our lives and the lives of our young ones.
I’m glad our cats get a taste of Nature too.
Bunny’s fun in the sun today.
But when he gets near the gate, that’s the signal to catch him and put him back inside.
Bunny has been outside and discovered that “there’s a whole new world out there” besides the confines of the garden. And news spread in Bunny’s Place about this “whole new world” beyond the gate so Tiger too has been going out and so has Tabs. And Indy too (but he only stepped out and did not trigger the panic alarm).
This morning, Tiger went out, got into the drain and refused to come out until we had to spray water to get him out. That was close.
Cats have this uncanny way of sneaking out noiselessly, so we are very careful nowadays. The moment they even go near the gate, we are on red alert to catch and bring them back.
I’m good.
And while the Inside Cats want to come out so much, the Outside Cats want so badly to go in!
Yes, it’s Ginger inside the room.
Don’t worry, Ginger is among friends.
But the girls are totally happy just being where they are.
You can be happy wherever you are, they chorus.
And Pole allows even Tabs to sleep at the penthouse whenever she likes.
Indy is just incredibly smart. He knows that if he goes out of the gate, he will be grounded for a week (as had happened with Bunny and Tabs and now, Tiger), so he enjoys the “great outdoors” in the garden and comes back in, totally satisfied.
And with the cats all settled, now it’s my turn…
Come ride with me?
