JOIN US! ACRES OPEN HOUSE, 23 AUGUST

Thats right! We at ACRES would like to meet with YOU; our valuable supporters, wildlife rescuers, voices for the animals, big-hearted donors, and not forgetting your friends too!

The day will start with exciting volunteer opportunities, and then we want to share our plans for ending animal cruelty for the rest of 2015 and let you know how you can get involved. This is a great opportunity introduce your friends and family to ACRES and find out what has been driving your passion!

But its not just all work and no play. No, that wouldnt do!

Weve got activities lined up for all ages: face painting, herb planting, gardening for the animals, vegan barbeque dinner, drinks, and a movie screening featuring Where Wild Things Are. In addition, tours around the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre will be available throughout the day till 5pm.

Heres what we have in store for you!

1030 1130: Welcome, volunteer briefing & tours

1130 1300: Hands-on volunteer work

1300 1400: Lunch break

1400 1530: Animal craft workshop

1500 1630: Herb planting workshop

1600 1700: ACRES presentation & FAQs

1700 1830: Flora for Fauna Gardening (for resident animals)

1830 1930: BBQ Meatless Munch (vegan fare)

1945 2015: Movie screening

Time: 10.30am to 9pm

Venue: ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre, 91 Jalan Lekar Singapore 698917

Things to note: Insect repellent, flat shoes and comfy clothing, sunblock and hats are recommended.

Well have mocktails, juices and soft drinks available, so remember to bring some cash (handy if you want to check out our exclusive ACRES merchandise too!) Alcoholic drinks are available to those aged 18 years and above.
