Updates: And the winner is……Yoke Mei, for RM350!!
But Yoke Mei saw Khalifa’s late bid of RM500 and she would like to offer the blanket to Khalifa since RM500 can help more animals! Khalifa was late by one minute. Yoke Mei says she will still donate her RM350 bid to AnimalCare as well, making this blanket clinching RM850 for the animals!! Thank you so much, Yoke Mei!
I offered to sew another blanket using the remaining (same) cloth for Yoke Mei, but Yoke Mei graciously declined and said we should put the second Happy Animals up for auction again.
So, Khalifa, this blanket is yours (please confirm if you’d like to have it for you bid of RM500) and Yoke Mei will be contributing another RM350 as well.
Thank you very much, everyone. THIS is the spirit of AnimalCare!! We are so deeply touched!!
Happy, happy animals!!
Further update: Khalifa has topped it up to a grand total of RM1000!! Very Happy Animals!!
The pattern is already so pretty, so I did not cut it up for this piece. After apportioning, there is enough cloth to make THREE blankets so there will be another two coming up but these other two would have to be patchworked to make up the breadth.
So this piece is just quilted with the backing (backing is done by my mum).
The backing cloth is contributed by Agnes Cheong.
Here you go!
Happy bidding and thank you very much for supporting our work!
