Rescued, then fostered: BLINI, the kitty

Blini, a grey/white-tabby kitten, was brought to our shelter, on 3 May 2015, shortly after being found (possibly abandoned) at Choa Chu Kang. He was merely about nine weeks old then, and a little too young to be adopted.

A kind fosterer, Ms Katja Lechner, offered to help care for Blini during his initial months. She gave the kitten a warm and nurturing home environment to prepare him for his adoptive home.

Three weeks later, he was returned to the SPCA for his next phase, looking all primed and healthy. Blini, all active and spirited, is still waiting for his forever family. His profile can be read here: http://goo.gl/bCNzeq

Our thanks to Ms Katja Lechner for having fostered him. Fostering an animal, as she has done, can be a wonderful bonding experience for you and your family. The rewards are intangible, as you would be actually saving a life and making a difference.

By helping to foster animals until space becomes available in our shelter and the animals become older and better able to cope with kennel life, you are helping us save more lives. Come join our Foster Care Programme, if you are keen, committed and ready: http://www.spca.org.sg/helpus_fosterparent.asp
