THEY DID IT – FOR THE ANIMALS! PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!
It took us a total of 3 days to reach the summit. Despite the cold winds and heat from the scorching sun, clambering up the steep slopes and experiencing some physical challenges, we are so happy to have made it to the top!
The journey there didnt start off too well, when my luggage got stolen from at Lombok airport. Before the climb even started, Priscilla was down with a fever bug and some of us experienced altitude sickness at the later part. We are just grateful that it was a rather safe climb. And, with such breathtaking scenery, there HAD to be a romantic story- Li Hao proposed to Janet at the summit and sealed the deal! Congratulations Li Hao, you conquered both the climb and woman of your dreams!
A toast and a big thank you to the climb team who took on this challenge to raise funds for ACRES to continue our efforts to end animal cruelty!
