It is completely amazing and it goes to show how wrong humans have been in thinking that birds have inferior brains just because they are small.

So, the next time someone calls you a “bird brain”, show them this video!

But on a more serious note, this video and what we have learnt from it must drive home the point that animals have cognitive and affective capabilities, maybe far, far more complex and superior than whatever we think is possible. Maybe they even have other levels of intelligence and consciousness that is beyond our mediocre imagination.

Then, WHO are humans to claim that they are the superior being, right?

That’s food for thought now, isn’t it?

And since we know animals have cognitive and affective capabilities, it means they can most certainly experience pain and fear as well. So, eat enough. Mostly plants, please.
