Dolphins Taesan And Boksoon Rejoice With Their Friends

EX-CAPTIVE DOLPHINS THRIVING AFTER RELEASE BACK INTO THE WILD!

Fantastic news for Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins Taesan and Boksoon, who were released back into the wild after being held captive for several years in Korea.

After just 10 days back in their natural habitat, they were spotted together with a pod of dolphins!

Three dolphins who were released two years ago, Jaedol, Chunsam, and Sampal, were also spotted in the pod, strongly indicating that all of the dolphins that were rescued from captivity are thriving back in their rightful wild habitat.

Officials from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries stated, “After seeing Taesan and Boksoon happy and healthy with the other dolphins, we were able to let go of our concerns that they might not be able to adjust to the wild due to their malformation and depression.”
