An Update On Cheri, The Special Needs Puppy (Judy Chua�s)

When Judy wrote to us for help to find an adopter for this puppy (now named Cheri), we published it but also advised that it would be very difficult to find an adopter who is willing to take in a special needs puppy.

Instead, we recommended a physiotherapist from Subang Jaya and also several other contacts who might be able to help.

Lai Yoong (Cheri’s rescuer) was given all these contacts and she decided to contact the physiotherapist.

Here’s a happy update from Judy, received today:

Dear Kah Yein

Just an update on the pup who’s been named Cheri.
.
Cheri’s been relocated from the first vet to another vet now, as it’s closer for the physiotherapist to travel to do the physiotherapy treatment for Cheri.  The physiotherapist had recommended this vet, who is also an acupuncturist, to Lai Yoong.  Cheri will be boarded there for 2 months to receive acupuncture as well as her physio treatment.

We are hoping that Cheri will be healed from her treatments, and be able to walk on all 4s again.
