RE: Thong-mang – a “Teacup” breed?

Dear Sis Chan,

In early May, It is heart-breaking to see these 2 newborn puppies of less than two weeks old (one in a reusable bag and the other lying between 2 car parking lots) at the temple ground. Unfortunately, one of these two has passed on. The other puppy has been fed with goat milk ever since.

It has never come to my interest pertaining to all kinds of man-made animal breeds. Till I came to know this so called “Teacup”breed (through my niece) due to unusual characters of this puppy such as very small size with ability to walk and run around since very young age (just more than a month old!), frequent hunger with feeding goat milk in every 3-4 hours and vulnerable to any kinds of injuries caused by himself or others.

I have been living with 8 of my own rescued cats, 2 UM cats with medical problems and 1 fostered kitten. In addition to my workload and time constrain, it seems impossible for me to accommodate additional lives that come into my assistant. I would therefore grateful to any adopter who must understand the nature of this beautiful but fragile miniature by the name of “Thong-mang –abundance of gold”. My contact number is 016-3178195.

Thank you.

Sukhi Hotu!

While we dearly hope that someone will adopt Thong-mang, we think it is only fair that you know that teacup animals (if indeed Thong-mang is a teacup breed – this is not confirmed yet) are the result of questionable breeding practices and hence, they require much more care than other animals.

This is not to discourage you from adopting Thong-mang, but to inform you that Thong-mang is a very special dog who will most likely require very special care.

If you could open your heart to take him home, we thank you very, very much.

P.S. One of our readers have expressed interest so far.
