Feline Guard, Bank Employee Extraordinaire!

According to the report, Muning the Cat, is the bank’s guard-cat. She is “employed” to take care of the rat problem (which had been causing the destruction of cables at the bank). Muning even has her own identification tag!

This is the Development Bank of the Philippines in Manila.

So, again (and again!), we say that leaving cats in their colony has a purpose – they take care of the rat problem. The presence of cats itself will almost ensure the rats will stay far away, unless, of course, you have an Ahimsa-cat like our Tiger who is friendly to all living beings!

Neuter-and-Return. Animals are here for a reason. The earth is their home too.
(This applies to dogs as well.)
