Tigers Harrowing Experience (Spider-Cat No. 2 In The Making?)
It just happened a few minutes ago and we are all terribly shaken.
Something hadn’t been going right the whole day.
Cow and Indy had been pacing back and forth, mewing loudly, which appeared like they were trying to tell us something. But as always, we aren’t smart enough to understand Cat (language).
Then, it happened.
Ming-Yi took this photo from the kitchen.
It was Tiger, making an attempt to….do the impossible!!
Tiger???
Yes, the mild-mannered Tiger. Yes, really. It was Tiger.
We did not take any further photos after that, as you would expect, we were trying to get him down safely. His claw was stuck on the stainless steel netting.
No one had ever attempted such a feat before. And one would expect it to be Indy or Pole, right?
But no….it was Tiger.
For those who weren’t with us in 2013, you might like to take a look at Indy’s historic Spider-Cat great escape: https://myanimalcare.org/2013/03/18/indys-escape-exposed/
Now I’m worried.
No, Indy, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!
What happened in 2013:
Indy studied the netting for days and noticed the “loophole” (there was literally a small hole in the double-layered netting), then, he made his great escape…and succeeded! That inspired us to change the soft netting into the polycarbonate sheets. But recently the neighbour was unhappy with rain water gushing down his wall, so we had to install this stainless steel netting and move the polycarb sheets higher.
I’m still in shock. Tiger???
