Medifoods Comes On Board KindMeal.my Today!!

We’ve been patrons of Medifoods as long as we’ve lived in Subang Jaya and that’s quite a long time now. And I take my meals there very often too.
So, for me personally, Medifoods coming on board KindMeal.my today is a celebration in itself and I was pleasantly delighted to know that I’m their first KindMeal.my customer when I stopped by after work armed with my first-ever KindMeal.my coupon (see below):
I learnt yesterday that if we log in with Facebook, we get double the discount, hence, I’m getting 30% off today for lunch!
How it works: Start your KindMeal.my account – you could just download the app to your smart phone and do it there. If you have an Facebook account, log in with that and if you agree to share it on your Facebook page, you will get double the discount at all KindMeal.my partner restaurants. The advert looks something like this each time you click for a coupon:
And if you are worried about annoying your FB friends with the constant automatic advert, you could do what I did:
5 likes? What can I say, I have very kind and understanding FB friends!
If you’d rather not have the advert automatically published on your FB page, you could opt for the normal discount, which is 15% at Medifoods. But then again, who doesn’t want more discount in this day and GST-laden age?
Now, onwards to the food talk…(Disclaimer: I am NOT a food blogger. AnimalCare encourages eating less meat as part of our ongoing mission to promote kindness to animals, hence we often publish information on eating compassionately yet nutritiously.)
With Mr Looi, “da boss” and the brains behind the concept of Medifoods.
If you come in with a KindMeal coupon, just show the QR code on your phone to the cashier. It’s as simple as that.
I’m just having a simple chapfan lunch today.
This is today’s selection.
This is my selection (you get rice with 4 types of dishes). The soup and fruit are free.
More about the rice: please scroll down.
For Medifoods, once you come in with the QR code, you get 30% off on everything storewide in the restaurant.
This includes the desserts which are available in the daily buffet breakfast.

Mr Looi says he welcomes all guests to his restaurant so we can get a QR code for an unlimited number of times a day, as often as we like! This is unlike some other restaurants where one customer is only entitled to use the QR code once a day.
“Are you sure, Mr Looi?”, I asked.
He said, “Yes, as long as people come and enjoy the food, I’m happy.”
So yes, it’s 30% off each time as long as you come with a new QR code on your phone. Getting the coupon (QR code) only takes a few clicks on your phone.
And Mr Looi proudly introduces me to his “House of Cards” display here:
Medifoods has two in-house dietitians and they work together with Mr Looi in preparing nutritious meals. This is especially important since Medifoods has a branch in our local hospital, the SDMC.
The purpose of the cards is to inform customers on the nutritional value of what they are eating.
Here are the information you’d find on some of the cards:
This is the rice that Medifoods serves. It’s Basmathi with lentils and millet. And it’s delicious!
Medifoods’ famous Nasi Lemak, available as eat-as-much-as-you-want at their buffet breakfast (7am to 10.30am daily) and it is also available on the ala carte menu.
These are kampung eggs from the farm where the free-range hens get to live out their natural lives even after they no longer produce eggs. The eggs are unfertilised.
All of the above are available at their buffet breakfast.
Inclusive of GST, I only paid RM7.30 today.
That’s a very affordable organic, meat-free nutritious meal!
Do keep the receipt as it entitles you to participate in the Win an iPhone 6 contest:

Medifoods is located at No. 61, SS18/6, 47500 Subang Jaya.
