Mun Ee (t_munee868@hotmail.com) has brought this to our attention:
Just now i walked pass this pet store at Pandan Indah. I saw this man looking beside a trash bin. I looked at what he was looking at, to my horror, there were 3 rabbits in a cage. They have very very very bad skin disease and their legs were so weak that they couldn't move. The skin disease was so bad that they don't even look like rabbits. Attached are some pictures of the rabbits.
We do not know if the petshop has thrown out the rabbits or if the rabbits still belong to the shop.
But here is what can be done:
1. Get someone who is willing to rescue and take responsibility for the rabbits (to adopt or rehome). 2. This person goes and asks the shop if the rabbits still belong to the shop. 3. Purchase or take away the rabbits (depending on shop's answer to No. 2). 4. Bring the rabbits to our vet for medical treatment - we will subsidise based on our policies http://www.myanimalcare.org/p/policies.html
Is there anyone who would like to help these rabbits, or anyone has any better idea?
Please contact Mun Ee at the email given above for the location of the shop.
