WELCOME TO OUR NEW WILDLIFE GUARDIANS AND WILDLIFE RESCUERS!

On the 20th and 27th of June, we conducted the Wildlife Guardians and Wildlife Rescue Training Programmes for new volunteers who want to get involved with our hands-on rescue work!

During the Wildlife Guardians training, participants learned all about basic reptile biology and providing care for the reptiles housed at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC).

Wildlife Rescue volunteers were briefed on general knowledge about native wild animals, and learned the proper procedures to handle and rescue wild animals. Last but not least, the volunteers were also trained on how to respond to enquiries on wildlife issues from members of the public.

The upcoming Wildlife Guardians Training Programme will be held on the 22nd of August, and the upcoming Wildlife Rescue Training Programme will be held on the 29th of August. Do join us if you are passionate about helping wild animals!
