Undercats: Cats & Owners In Purr-fect Unison
When photographer Sebastian Magnani finished his Underdogs project, which merged images of dogs with their respective humans, he decided to embark on the same project for cats.
He recognised that cats have “these awesome, beautiful eyes really catchy and huge. It’s like a door, something, that someone can enchant. Magical and mesmerizing. The eyes, like a mirror of the soul.”
Magnani spliced the furry features of cats with the head and shoulders of their owners, shooting the owners and their respective pets in the same portrait style.
