Doris came to the shelter after she was found abandoned in a strangers yard. She was absolutely terrified of anyone who came near her.

Doris has now been a resident at the shelter for over two years, and sadly she has still not learnt that staff and volunteers mean her no harm.

Thanks to supporters like you, Doris is able to stay at the shelter until the day comes where we hope she will learn to trust again.

Until then, Doris will always a safe place to live, medical care, food and shelter and love and affection is waiting for her when she feels she is ready. Volunteers will continue to sit patiently in her run waiting for her to take that first sniff of their hand and allow her first gentle pat.
