Mangroves, which have declined by up to half over the past 50 years, are an important bulkhead against climate change. They store atmospheric carbon dioxide just like other land-based tropical forests. But unknown to many, mangroves are even more efficient below the water line, hoarding five times more carbon over the same surface area.
We need our mangroves to be around much longer. Protect the Setiu Wetlands in Terengganu and you and a friend could win a special tea session with iM4U FMs DJ Tyler Boy! Find out more on how you can support this campaign at https://goo.gl/wNyuej or scan the QR code.
