Nathan got caught in a wild boar snare and chewed his leg down to the bone in a desperate attempt to escape.

When Nathan was rescued, it was sadly too late to save the leg and it had to be amputated.

This wonderful boy made a remarkable recovery and eventually got his happy ever after when he was adopted!

Here’s a photo of Nathan (now re-named Odie) taken by his wonderful adopter in the US.

There are hundreds of other dogs like Nathan, still at our shelter, still waiting for their happy ever after.
