MY HOPES FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SINGAPORE MACAQUES
Over the past few weeks, weve been sharing interesting stories and information about Singapores long-tailed macaques. We hope youve enjoyed the posts!
Today, wed like to take a moment to hear from some young advocates who are doing their part to help long-tailed macaques in Singapore.
A group of young girls from the Canadian International School embarked on a project to share information and knowledge on how to co-exist with the long-tailed macaques. They held a donation drive recently to raise funds for the ACRES Macaque Team.
Sharing their hopes for the future of Singapores macaques, we were amazed and inspired by their ability to see the need and urgency to protect the highly misunderstood macaques.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Troop 94 and their mentor, Ms. Leah, for their efforts to help ACRES continue our to mission towards moulding a community that can learn to co-exist with the long-tailed macaques.
