I am the victim of the most unbelievable cruelty.

E-mail alex@soidog.org to adopt me.

My name is Chacris and I am a boy of about 7 and a half years old. I was a stray dog of Thailand. One day somebody threw hot oil over me, leaving me with horrendous burns and blisters the length of my body.

My burns had become seriously infected and were infested with maggots. I was in the most horrendous agony when I was found by Soi Dog. Despite this, I cooperated gently with my treatment.

In addition to my horrific burns, I was covered in fleas and ticks – testament to a life of neglect on the streets.

I have received extensive treatment and care from the vets at the shelter here. My ugly wounds were cleaned out and disinfected daily and I received a course of antibiotics for my infection. I was also treated for my flea and tick problem.

My fur has grown back really well and now to look at me you would never know the ordeal I have endured. The mental scars remain though and the memory of that vicious attack stays with me.

What I need now more than anything, is a loving home of my own, where my new family can help to forget my past and look to the future. A home with toys and a soft cosy bed would be lovely. A home where kind people make a fuss of me and remind me that I am not a bad and worthless dog.

Please find the space in your heart and your home to take me in. I will be a good dog, I promise.

Please e-mail alex@soidog.org to find out more.
