SAVOY ARRIVED AT OUR SHELTER AFTER SHE WAS FOUND DUMPED IN A BOX…

She had a badly damaged left front leg, which she was unable to put any weight on. It was sadly too late to save this leg and it had to be amputated.

Savoy, now named NIchea, made a remarkable recovery and was adopted by Cilla in the UK.

Here she is in her forever home, clearly not able to read English yet. Or perhaps she’s just making a point?

Nichea’s treatment was only possible because of the cat lovers who have joined our Care for Cats Club.

Their regular donations are used to provide emergency medical treatment, food and care to cats like Nichea, and to spay and neuter more cats to prevent the birth of unwanted kittens.
